Pu Er Shou 2023 Li Di - mini cakes - Camellia Sinensis

These 5g mini-cakes of shou-type Pu er tea are made from a blend of leaves sourced from various locations in the Bulang Shan, the famous mountains of Xishuangbanna in Yunnan, China.

Li Di, meaning "far from the ground", referring to the fermentation of the leaves, which took place on wire racks rather than directly on the ground, allowing for better air circulation. The result is a tea with a remarkably balanced flavour.

Notes of clay, bark and a hint of camphor are revealed in a smooth and charming liquor with a sumptuous mahogany colour. The harmony of this tea is a pure delight.

Infuse 1 mini cake 5g in 500ml of water at 95 degrees for 4 to 5 minutes.
