Come by and learn foundational embroidery in a supportive environment with teacher Lucy Curran of NameEmbroidery. Workshop includes all materials in a kit which you will be able to take home: embroidery needle, a heat-erasable pen, and a pair of scissors, hoop, fabric, floss, instructions, and backing supplies. 

You will work on a stitch sampler to learn a handful of foundational stitches and build on them. Examples include backstitch -> couch stitch -> fly stitch -> lazy daisy which all work off the same principles and then leaf stitch -> satin stitch. You will embroider an herbs and mushrooms scene. 

Tea and locally baked scone will be served at break time.
