Elderflower Syrup - Gourmet Sauvage

Elderflower has been traditionally used in Europe to add to carbonated drinks with a twist of lemon, there are many varied culinary uses for it and Gourmet Sauvage has excelled at making Elderflower Syrup from the delicate flowers of the Canadian elderberry bushes.

The syrup is lightly flowery with aromas of lemon, litchi fruit, and honey. It can be used to sweeten tea and cocktails, to drizzle on salads, smoothies or pancakes, in dessert making, and to simply add to sparkling wine or soda.
