Air plants, or Tillandsias, are truly a unique tropical plant. Xerographica is considered the king of air plants with its large size, beautiful silvery green thick leaves and curling shape. 

Air plants rely on a combination of air and water to grow, but aren’t as dependent on water as traditional plants. It is enough to mist the airplant twice a week, make sure to shake off the water very well or hang upside down to dry. Another way is to soak the airplant for ten minutes and up to an hour once every week or once every second week during winter, make sure to shake off the excess water and hang upside down to fully dry. It is important not to leave water between the leaves to avoid rot. 

Unlike traditional plants, air plants also do not require soil to survive, simply place on a shelf, a trinket dish, the coffee table or anywhere in your home or office for a unique natural decor.
